Mark has been one of the strongest team of residents in the country at SHINDIG in Newcastle and is also widely regarded as one of the most skilful. Not afraid to tackle three decks and a couple CD players Marks talent shines through the unique blend of Deep Funky House through to dark, progressive, driving rhythms of the Tech House spectrum. It is this style that has earned him guest slots at Homelands and The Gallery in Britain and such exotic places as Tel Aviv and Oslo abroad.
Mark has also performed guest mixes on Danny Rampling and John Digweed’s Radio shows.
The DJs DJ tag comes from the many people who have been impressed by his skills while playing with him at SHINDIG but also his impressive discography and remix history.
Having co founded FORENSIC RECORDS with SHINDIG partners Scott Bradford and Scooby his talent for music certainly stretches into the studio. Mark records under the monikers LEXICON AVENUE with Scott and Chris Scott as well as BONE CITY with Anton Fielding with the former earning worldwide respect from the true House Music fraternity.
Mark has since remixed and recorded for labels such as Yoshitoshi (Deep Dish’ label), Hooj Choons, Renaissance, NRK, Plastica and Forensic records while a true testimony is the amount of times tracks of his have appeared on compilations by Danny Howells, Sander Kleinenberg and Pete Tong to name but a few.
